Time to activate the blog again. We are getting ready to take our first trip to Europe in four years. Last one was to Sweden. This time it's a little more extensive. We begin in Krakow, Poland. Four days there, including a trip to Auschwitz. Then we are driving to Bialystok, where we meet up with Tomek Wisniewski, http://www.dialog.org/hist/nyt-tomek.html  who is going to show us around the Jewish sites of Bialystok and Krinke. Krinke is where Pat's grandparents came from in the early 1900's. We then will meet up with a guide to show us around Augustow where the Klimaszewski's originated. We'll have lunch with my father's second cousin, who we have been in contact with.
After that we will drive to Warsaw to catch a plane to Prague. Four days in Prague, then Salzburg Austria, a train to Munich, then a road trip up the Romantic Highway to Frankfurt for the flight home. We are excited and ready to go. We'll keep you posted on the blog every couple of days. Dan
