Czeching out of Czech and a Gud Muttertag

Happy Mothers Day in German
We left Prague today, during the start of the Prague Marathon. Anticipating great traffic, we left two hours early for an 11am train. We got there without incident in about 10 minutes. So that left us two hours to hang out at the airport. Here is one advantage of multi-national businesses. Burger King was in the train station, with wireless. They shared an eating space with a coffee shop bakery, so we bought coffee, and a couple of croissants, and sat there for two hours with internet access. We found our train, boarded, and set off on our next leg of the trip. When the conductor came around to check tickets, she informed us, that one leg of the trip was going to be by bus, because of construction on the tracks. We dragged our bags off the train, and met head on with a mob of people coming the other way, who were making the opposite trip, and had just gotten off of busses, to board our train. Hundreds of people were meeting in the stairway, dragging luggage, and headed in opposite directions. It was like a bad WWII movie about refugees trying to get on a train, and losing their relatives in the process. Though it was a close call, we didn't lose each other, nor any luggage. The next transfer back to the train was a little calmer.
We ended up on an older train, but the good part was we had our own compartment with six seats, and no other passengers.
We then had to transfer again, but this, we had been told.  That went smoothly and we got on the fast train.   Got to Salzburg in about an hour, got to our hotel, and got settled.
So our dinner was really nice and we really like this town at first impression.  As we walked to find a place for dinner, we saw a group of a high school age choir singing classical music right by the Mozart birthplace and museum.  They were excellent, and this was very enjoyable.
We are pretty travel weary today, however, so we just need a good rest.  I am not sure this is possible, as our room, which is decorated very nicely and is very clean, is not only the size of a bathroom, but it sort of lists to one side!   Dan just sort of siddled  into his side of the bed, which is practically on top of the desk the computer is on.  Frankly, I feel dizzy!  Oh well, part of the adventure.
